The James Judkins Foundation was established to honor the legacy of a fun-loving, well-loved, elite athlete who rose from humble circumstances to attend college on a full athletic scholarship in football. Beyond his natural abilities, James was a consistent mentor and invested deeply in his family, friends, and community, believing and living out the fact that he truly was “his brother’s keeper.” James died an early, untimely death from an undiagnosed diabetic condition.
The James Judkins Foundation seeks out individuals who, like James, exhibit a strong spirit and world-changing potential but may not have access to all the resources needed to make a good start in life. Our hope is that by identifying, investing, and celebrating these key players, we will be expanding James’ legacy far beyond his shortened lifetime.
